The ambiance is that of a 4 star restaurant. Very clean, dimly lit, and beautiful. I have been there twice now, and both times had no problems being seated. The wait staff was very friendly and prompt in taking our orders and getting our food and drinks to us. I love the food. Its soooo good. I love the Hot and Sour Soup, the basil chicken, mongolian beef, and the kung pow chicken was good too. Would totally recommend.

I can see why this place is so rated, by both Zagat and Michelin. I kind of expected the pricing to be a bit higher, but for lunch, the Executive Lunch special is very reasonable! You get soup, salad, the entree + rice, and some cookies. The food was sort of gourmet, not much different than a really good Chinese restaurant, but it was different. Ordered the Kong Pao Chicken and it sure was spicy, lots of red chilis & peppers. The soup (hot/sour) wasn't that spicy... Salad was good, fresh, crisp with some kind of ginger vinaigrette.

This is a Zagat Rated Restaurant, so I expected the food to be really good, the pricing to be expensive, & service to be excellent & fast. Well for the food, it was some kind of a gourmet Chinese cooking... not like a typical Chinese Restaurant. We came for lunch & had the Martini Prawns (crispy prawns with their spicy aioli) & it was really good... their Mongolian Beef (which denotes hot & spicy), not bad & lastly, we had Imperial Chow Mein (or Fried Rice). Pricing was reasonable & that was great... I was really expecting to pay more.

Always a great meal with excellent service... The martini prawns, very unique and the pot stickers were fabulous as usual... not your usual Chinese cuisine more creative and flavorful, you will love the chow mein! Gary's family still runs the place, his brother is the chef.
